Management
A client's property portfolio can vary from
single buildings to large campus style sites. Castons management aim to advises
clients on the most efficient and cost effective methods to allow the potential value
of these
assets to be fully unlocked. This is achieved by developing a suitable
management strategy which can take the form of
out-sourcing elements of non-core activities, partnering arrangements
or more traditional maintenance contracts.
Castons can develop the strategies required from scratch or undertake
reviews of existing systems and procedures in order to enhance their
efficiency. We help to introduce more effective management and cost
control systems using benchmarking techniques and performance measurement.
This service has been successfully implemented in a number of initiatives

Castons can prepare appropriate partnering contract documentation,
act as partnering advisor and provide co-ordination, implementation and auditing services
for local authorities.
Building Surveying
In addition to our maintenance services Castons also undertake building surveying including stock condition surveys, specification and CAD drawings
for minor works. We have worked across the UK on properties for:

- Hanover Housing Association
- Havering Borough Council
and in managing maintenance and minor works framework agreements.
