John Button FRICS, FFB

John joined the partnership in 1986 and became Senior Partner in 1995. He has considerable experience in all aspects of the construction industry and concentrates on the provision of Quantity Surveying and Project Management services.

John specialises in the Health, Education, Leisure and Community sectors and in recent years and has gained detailed knowledge of the process of obtaining funding from the Lottery and other sources.

As a past chairman of the RICS East Anglia branch, Quantity Surveying division, John is keen to improve the image of the construction industry within the business community. He is determined to foster a team spirit on all his projects to ensure that all the participants are committed to achieving the client's aspirations.

Peter Dring Dip ProjMan, MRICS, MAPM

Peter heads Castons Project Management services working closely with both private and public organisations.

Peter has 18 years experience as a project manager and has over this time developed a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the project life cycle. Peter has great experience in taking clients initial basic objectives, and through business case analysis and via the use of innovative procurement solutions, developing comprehensive project frameworks enabling the successful realisation of the client's goals.

Kevin De'ath MRICS, MASI, MCIOB

Keving is an assessor for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence. Kevin has a diverse background of experience having previously worked for a local authority as well as in private practice.

Kevin is responsible for developing the core business of the practice and has extended our activities in fulfilling the role of Fund Monitor and Employers Agent in addition to the traditional Cost Management function.

Martin King BSc(Hons), MRICS, MCIArb, MAICA, MASI

Martin is the managing partner our West Midlands office and of the provision of legal services. Martin has over 20 years experience of providing contractual advice, dispute resolution, expert witness work, and arbitration, adjudication and litigation consultancy to a broad spectrum of clients and to date has advised on over 60 adjudication proceedings.

Martin originally trained as a quantity surveyor and this training and his experience gained in the construction industry are used to complement his legal specialisation.

Matthew Norman BSc, Dip ProjMan, MRICS

Matthew is responsible for developing procurement strategy for individual projects to suit specific client requirements. His particular areas of expertise include health, further education and automotive projects.

Matthew is a chartered quantity surveyor and also a qualified project manager used to acting as lead consultant including when appointed as part of a framework agreement.

Tim Wootton BSc, BSc, FRICS, ACIArb, FFB

Tim runs St. Ives, Cambridge office. He is an experienced chartered quantity surveyor and a project manager who has been based in St Ives for 25 years.

Tim operates in the fields of dispute management and resolution as well as preparation of quantities and project management.
