Riverside Swimming Centre, Norwich Contract Details: Value: £4m 
The project involved the construction of a new 6 lane, 25m swimming pool with a small learner pool, gym, fitness studio and restaurant. The project is being constructed on a heavily contaminated site, which has been specially treated prior to commencement of the construction works. Castons were involved in the process
of obtaining funding from Sport England. This project was the first
to obtain Sport England funding using a two stage procurement route.
Castons drove the valve engineering process throughout the design
of the project to minimise the clients overall expenditure and maximise
the value of the overall final building that was constructed.
